Ch-Ch-Changes...

A lot has changed since my last post.

I got hitched.

We honeymooned up the west coast.

My Our apartment got broken into while we were gone.

My husband went from 'part' to 'full' time at work.

We got approved (out of 15 applicants!) for a lease on an adorable house in Grapevine.

There are clean clothes spread out everywhere. Thank goodness I caught up on laundry, but we don't have space for 2 in this tiny loft.

There are wedding gifts still in boxes, in corners. We can't wait to pretend it's our wedding day all over again and open up the boxes in our new house. We can't wait to have friends and family over!

The house has a big yard, and we're allowed to have a garden. That really excites me.
The house also has a dog-door. Awesome!

My lease is up on May 10th, and we could possibly move in by May 1st.

Until then, I'm trying to remain calm in a cluttered home.

I've noticed a few changes in our dynamics, since George moved in. I anticipate many more changes as we live chaotically for the month of April, work hard moving at the beginning of May, and then as we settle down just in time for the lazy nights of summer. I've done my first grocery shop as a 'wife' and even survived the meat section at Central Market. We opened up a new bank account today. I made George a lunch to take to work. I find that in traditional female gender roles, and traditional 'wife' roles, I find a lot of peace and without sounding too arrogant, I believe it is coming naturally. I think it is because I've had a long time preparing for the role. George has really stepped up his game, too! He navigated us and drove the entire honeymoon. He wanted that role. I gladly sat passenger and took in the sights. I felt safe then, and safe when I came home to a broken into apartment. He's a great husband.

I have so much more to say, but also so much more to do.

I look forward to writing more in the future!
I can't wait to see our wedding pictures, share them, and thank everybody (publicly) again for the support during our wedding! We have a support network that is AHHHmazing. We are blessed and so grateful.
