To bring in the new year, one of my lifelong best friends hosted a New Year's Eve party. It was so much fun. She was QUITE the hostess! Here's a picture of her table, covered with food. There was more, too, but it was cooking in the oven.

Of course, I busted out a deck of cards (unfortunately, the Grateful Dead set from the 60's was off-limits, it's a collector's item and her parents are HUGE DeadHeads!) and we played my favorite drinking game, King's Cup. THREE TIMES. Drinking games, wine, and lifelong BFFs. Perfect way to bring in the new year!!! Thank you so much for hosting, Erin!!! I had a blasty-blast! :-)

On New Year's Day, Laura and I lounged around, ate Thai, and watched 4+ episodes of "Sister Wives" on TLC. WOW. Interesting show about polygamists. It definitely put us in a giggly mood. Hence, George's random Facebook Status. Sorry about that, Georgie.
