Never Too Old To Feed The Ducks

I have wonderful memories of walking down to the dock with my grandmother and sister, and feeding the ducks. Today, I re-lived that memory, with the company of my precious pup, Teddy.

I wanted to capture some good pics and most importantly, I wanted him to have a good time. I feel an awful amount of guilt when I work long hours and I know he is cooped up, bored and lonely, in my loft.

I love that my balcony FACES this lovely pond and walking trail. It is literally seconds away from my place, which makes it convenient when the weather is nice!!!

Oh, just a beautiful sculpture! No big deal!! :-)

My artsy-urban community! LOVE IT HERE!

Teddy loves ambushing the ducks, and running them into the water.

I thought the sparkles on the water were just gorgeous. I didn't even do any photoshop with this one! Just an allover "enhance" but those sparkles are all God, not my iMac!!!

Teddy and the Duck conversing in animal-talk. He's telling the duck to back off, I'm sure.

But above all things, TEDDY LOVES HIS BALL. It can be any old ball, if it is in his mouth or WAS in his mouth, he wants it back there! I bought him a set of 4 perfectly sized balls from PetSmart over the weekend, and we took one with us while we fed the ducks. The last throw ended up in the pond. It wasn't quite 50 degrees, and the pond water was pretty chilly. Teddy cried as he learned to let it go. He even reached out for it with his paw! MELTED MY HEART, and I got it captured with my new awesome camera! It was a great date with my pooch.

No ball, paws wet. Time to go on home.
